- Red sky at morning, sailors take warning;
- Red sky at night, sailors' delight.
or
Whether or not you believe in either one of those old sayings, it's been very true this week.
Normally we'd be shivering in the cold, but the temperatures have been Spring like in the high 60s.
No one can say that we don't get beautiful sunsets here.
The colors were so amazing last night, I grabbed my camera in the middle of making dinner and ran outside to take pictures.
It almost looked like the trees were on fire.
And I love how it made my home look kind of pink :)
No matter what the weather is like where you live,
I hope you're enjoying it,
like I am.
If it's snowing or just cold, I hope you're warm and cozy.
If it's hot, I hope you're staying cool and enjoying a nice barbecue.
Most of all though,
I hope you're enjoying life :)

Oh, wow...those are some of the most intense sunset pictures I've ever seen! You are right - it looked like the trees were on fire. Is that your cool blue car in the photos? :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYup, that's Clarence :)
Beautiful pictures. And that car.... too much. Makes me day.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad! :)
DeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteOh Rue, the sunset is just beautiful with the purples and pinks. I did notice that in one of the pictures, that the trees look like they are fire. I don't really see the sunsets as much as the pretty sunrises here. I'm an early bird. Your cottage looks so charming.

Thank you! I'm usually to sleepy to think about pictures at sunrise, but hopefully I'll get one of those too :)
DeleteOh wow! Such gorgeous sunsets! I love the sky and find myself gazing at sunrises, sunsets, beautiful clouds, and other lovely pictures painted in the sky. Thanks for sharing these photos! Have a blessed and beautiful rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I hope you have a beautiful rest of the week too :)
DeletePretty sunset! Weather on the Front Range of Colorado is very changeable. Today was chilly with snow, by the weekend we will be in the high 60's. Last week he hit the 70's and then it snowed a couple days later. It keeps life interesting!
ReplyDeleteWe tend to have weird weather like that too. I think the strangest thing is that our biggest snow is usually in April.

beautiful skies . . . gorgeous home . . . lovely photos
ReplyDeleteThat is something i do miss about being in Arizona. The night skies are always gorgeous, with the sunsets and the stars. The way your house shone in that picture was so beautiful. Thank you for the pictures. It makes up for the cold, grey, snowy days.

You're welcome. I'm glad you liked them :)

DeleteBeautiful sunset pictures. I'm trying to see beyond the mounds and mounds of snow. I'm anxious for spring to get here, but then I feel I'm wishing my days away which I hate to do...sigh

ReplyDeleteI think so too :)
DeleteLord a mercy! These look like something out of the old magazine we used to get decades ago, Arizona Highways I think it was called. I'm glad you didn't miss that by watching the evening news inside.
ReplyDeleteI am too! Actually I almost missed it, because I was cooking, but luckily I noticed the sky was pink out of my kitchen window as I was washing up :)
DeleteStunning pictures, absolutely gorgeous! We get sunsets like that here sometimes, I'm going to have to get my camera out one of these times :)
