Memorial Day


I'm a proud mother of a son in the military and I'm proud of everyone that chooses or did choose to serve our country.

    I am proud of my husband's service for this country in the US Navy, 69-73.

    My dad served in WWII. He was 17 when he enlisted and was a tail gunner flying out of Greenland. He was shot down 3 times. Amazing. Thank you to all who serve ~ Including your brave boy.

    Thank you to your son for his current service to our country and to all who have served in the past. I understand your pride in your son since I also have a son who is a Staff Sargent in the military.

    So many thanks to your son and other sons and daughters who are serving in the military now! My father and so many uncles served in WWII. A grandson is now in the Army Reserves, a nephew flew the largest cargo transport planes many times into the Middle East. I am so thankful they all came back safely, that they weren't called upon for the greatest sacrifice of all, but I honor those that did, and their parents.
