Hey there :)
Just wanted you to know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth.
I'm just busy getting ready for this:
Do you see that list?!
Holy smokes!
I'm so very flattered that Brenda even thought of me, but I still have a lot of work to do.
I really hope I don't disappoint.
We're our own worst critics, aren't we? ;)
Anywho...
I can't leave you without something cute, so here's a video I took awhile back of Bubba begging for dinner.
My little alarm clock never forgets his meal ;)
Be back soon....

Yes, we are our own worst critics. I'm sure your yard/gardens will be just beautiful...of course you won't disappoint! Try not to be so hard on yourself. We're an easy crowd. ;-) Bubba is so cute. It sounds like he's talking, lol.
ReplyDeleteOh, that Bubba! Looking forward to your garden party!
ReplyDeleteOoh, a garden party sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteOh, he is darling! That sweet hoarse little voice of his! It woke up the dachshunds here on the sofa by me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat the garden party will be…3 more days, can't wait to see it all. Has there been lots of dirt under your fingernails? Probably not, I bet you wear garden gloves!
What a little cutie! Looking forward to your garden. My more than half of the blogs I read. Will need to check out the other blogs. Su's garden and yard is perfect for the low desert. Keep cool up there Rue, it's going to be blazing hot in Phoenix. 110 plus all week and then some, oh joy!!! Kathleen in Az
ReplyDeleteThis weather is something else, isn't it? I want my 80 degree weather back! lol
DeleteStay cool down there :)

What a great pup! Layla's bro.
ReplyDeleteI'm fretting over the party. In the Midwest the weather has been so wonky---not so much stellar. I'll do my best in the party.

Hi Rue, I just commented on your kitchen post. Case you don't look. I'm trying to visit more, truly I am.
ReplyDeleteYour garden will be beautiful no doubt about it. How exciting. I belong to the Garden Club in our small town and it is such fun. Can't wait to see your garden post.
Bubba is adorable begging. Our Cheri' is much the same way. We adore our pup and I know you do too. He is beyond cute.
Don't work too hard.
Love,
Jeanne
See you and your garden soon! xx
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be such a treat! You will do just fine, and yes, we are our own worst critics.
DeleteBubba is a hoot! I loved how he lifted one leg for a bit, then switched and lifted the other one and his voice, oh my.
Have a good week ~ FlowerLady
Soooo cute! We have an alarm clock in our house as well. Little Miss Isabelle aka Izzy. She comes and finds me, usually... sometimes my husband.... and pokes with her nose and then either sits and stares at us or lays at our feet. She never misses a meal.
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to this blog hop! Can't wait to see your beautiful garden area!! Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy preparations for the Garden Party!!!!!

It looks like it will be a party to remember!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is Bubba. My little pugs have gotten trained with the key word "dinner". Shhhhh, don't say it too loud. When I say that word, four little pug heads snap around and look at me to make sure that's what they heard. They also wiggle and tilt to the word "treat". Have fun at your garden party. Sandy
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute, Sandy!

He is vocal like Abi! Maybe you should put him on YouTube. Charlie is now all upset from hearing Bubba.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Adorable! Can't wait for the garden party either! We've been working on our yard....finishing up with things...and it is a lot of hard work! ;)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could see it!

I am sure your garden will be lovely! Do not fret...and your blog is looking lovely, too! Very nice layout and colors.
ReplyDeleteok, I like this blog design the best. It's simple, clean, and very nice. But not sure if you know that your side bar blogs (show all link) is not working. Maybe it's something on my end. I look forward to seeing the Summer Cottage Garden Party.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week, Rue.

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the tour. :)
Happy Summer!

Haha. I was playing the video and Buddy came running out to see who was dog talking in our house. Just Bubba I told him. Now go on back to bed.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see everything. Love the new banner! Bubba is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the garden party! Cute Bubba sounds like a seal!
ReplyDeleteMy garden is looking pretty good. My pictures are all taken. I have a few more to edit. And now I have to learn how to set a publish time to get my post up at 3 a.m. my time.
ReplyDeleteHi Rue! Oh, that cute little Bubba and love hearing his little voice too. Congratulations on being chosen for Brenda's garden tour! I'll be looking forward to it! Hope you're doing well.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi, Rue, I just left a comment and I hope it went through, but if it didn't, here it is again. I'm so happy you are back blogging again. Blogging has changed so much, some good and some not, but it's still such a fun journey. Sounds like we both have been through some very tough times and yes, it just makes you stronger. I'm so happy you have a cottage to love again. Big welcome back to blog land and hugs from me!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the party!
