I hope that wherever you are...
that your weekend is beautiful...
that you make the most of it...
and that you don't forget to stop and smell the roses :)

Thank you so much for leaving a comment. It means so much to me that you took the time and I read each and every one. If you don't have a blog, look for a response under your comment. I try to get to them within a few days :)
For some reason, the comment box doesn't always show up, so if you want to leave a comment, replying to someone else's comment seems to work. Also, I've had to switch from safari to chrome in order to comment on blogger, so that might be the issue. If not, you can always reach me via email, located on my side bar. Thank you!
I never forget to stop and smell the roses. That is the one thing I've continually told my girls. Always pause in your day to stop and smell the roses.

Your blog was always a favorite for sure and now that you're at it again, I'm soooooo happy! Welcome back to blogland! I went through your other posts here to catch up and again you're so real and have such a great personality! I tried after you left to find you but to no avail, so thank you for stopping by! Cant' wait to see whats ahead! Btw, I love your profile photo too, gorgeous!! Hugs, Cyn xo

ReplyDeleteSame to you, dear Rue! (Hey, I rhymed! lol)
ReplyDeleteI just want to say how much I enjoy your "new" blog. I had quit blogging and am just "visiting" . I have had some upheaval myself and just felt my life was not fancy enough to share. I enjoy your day to day life. It is time to stop and appreciate what we have instead of striving to outdo each other :) - I love your new little house and all your fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Rue...just beautiful! The house, yards, flower, and the simple words! You live an authentic life....just as I do. Have a blessed and beautiful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHere's wishing the same wonderful weekend for you, too, Rue! Great shots of your adorable cottage.
ReplyDeleteI planted one planter box (15 small plants) today and that was a celebration. Loved seeing your cottage. Have a great weekend/week.

Happy weekend to you, too.
ReplyDeleteSame to you, Rue! What do you have planned for this weekend? My hubby is off work tomorrow, so we are planning to take a day trip with my mom and aunt. We'll probably be going to Milwaukee, WI for the day.
ReplyDeleteExcellent advice, as always, Rue! We have more rain predicted, but since we made it to the downtown library last week there is plenty of reading material if it's too wet to be outdoors. Good luck finding the eater of daisies and pansies at your house.
ReplyDeleteI love your home and what you have done with it - inside and out. That first photo is just lovely and so welcoming, like a calm oasis. I hope you have a fabulous weekend as well!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you too <3.

ReplyDeleteAnd you certainly have lovely roses to appreciate, Rue! Thank you for this wise post!
ReplyDeleteHappy enjoyments to you, Rue. I'm here from Canterbury Tales and love your peaceful photos.

Hi Rue! Hope you and your sweetie are enjoying the week-end. I always love seeing the photos of the exterior of your home... it's rather like a fairy tale house. My husband and I have some long term plans for our yard. Wondering what future projects you have in mind for the exterior, ie: yard decor, lawn, flowers, bushes, garden, etc. Would love to hear. xox
ReplyDeleteThank you. My daughter was married yesterday, and today we are stopping to smell 325 white roses that were used in our table arrangements! Life is very good!
ReplyDeleteRue,
ReplyDeleteI love my visits to your part of the world:) I hope you are enjoying your weekend too!

oh, this makes me laugh! i am in your age range...more or less... ;} and my dad's parents were both born in 1890...needless to say my dad was raised by a whole slew of family members with decidedly "other century" ideas!
