This is the view I have right now, while I type out this post.
I love the canopy of tree branches :)
Anyway, I just thought I'd check in, so you don't think I've jumped ship.
I'm in the process of doing laundry, cleaning, painting, planting, gardening, catching up on my pinterest and answering a few blogging questions and emails, and haven't had time to do anything besides that except take this single photograph.
I promise I'll post again soon.
Forgive me?
xo

What a great view, and I forgive you because I'm doing the same things...it is all so much to balance.
ReplyDeleteOf course you are forgiven! Life just has that way about it and sometimes we have no time at all for fun! Wanted to let you now that I enjoy all the recipes. Somehow they remind me of my Nana and her recipes. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
Nothing to forgive, my dear! Post as much or as little as you like! I will visit when I see you've been here. Glad to hear you're staying good and busy. A lovely time of year for it!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! I am right there with you, trying to balance it all, especially during a week of school vacation with a houseful of people home. It's a pretty view. I could swear it was right out of the '50's. Does that machine still work? I see thread on it, so I am assuming it does. Then again, I know what a great decorator you are, so it could be a very cleverly places prop. ;) Either way, it is a gorgeous piece.
ReplyDeleteIt's all good! Just looking at the glass birds on the window sill with that view, well honestly I feel all of a sudden Zen like. Beautiful, Kathleen in Az
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad! Thank you, Kathleen :)

What a beautiful view! I find that as the weather gets nicer, I don't have as much time to be on the computer either. Nor do I want to be. I'd rather be outdoors, taking care of my yard and gardens. Or be taking day trips. Or even just sitting outside on the patio, reading and relaxing. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWe all have those times. Such a pretty view.
ReplyDeleteRue, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, and that's true in this case; your photograph is like a story--so much is captured, so many beautiful details to savor. The window is unique and beautiful, and the glass birds along the top are magical. What a view.
ReplyDeleteCome back soon!
ReplyDeleteWell of course. Time, days, life, takes over.
ReplyDeleteDig the car.
And a beautiful photo it is!
ReplyDeleteBlogging should never feel like an obligation Rue. Do what you want, when you want. Those that don't understand don't matter, and those that matter, do. (I only post once a week. Used to do three but it got out of hand,)
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful view.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view of a wonderful old car!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy every moment of your day, especially with that delightful view.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a pretty good view to me! xx
ReplyDeletePretty! I love the way the light comes through the glass birds.
ReplyDeleteI too am fortunate that when I sit at my keyboard I have tres to look out on. I don't have your beautiful glass birds though
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Rue, your view is prettier than a picture! I just love how the sun shines through your glass birds! If I had your view, I wouldn't want to ever get up! Enjoy the rest of your week! xo Christine
ReplyDeleteLOVE the view! LOVE the car!!! Your house has so many wonderful features!! Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very sweet view! Your home looks as if it must be tucked into a forest.m
ReplyDeleteThe "m" was a blip.
DeleteLovely view. Sounds like your week will be a very productive one.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy

Sounds like a busy time Rue. I can relate. Love that view.
ReplyDeleteThe birds up high on the window ledge is a pretty display.
Hugs, CM
Love your view and blog name! That is my style! Old fashion and the world I choose to live in as much as possible! God bless! Cindy
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Cindy! :)
DeleteSuch a lovely view, we haven't any leaves on our trees yet! Love the car in the driveway too!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love those little glass birds on the window sill.

Don't worry, Rue --we all get bust at times. I know I've been busy with pre and after Easter preparations. Then my daughter's family passed around a nasty stomach bug so we were babysitting even more than usual.
