Four things

When I came down with a cold last week, it took three things to make me feel better.

A whole lot of vitamin C...

a huge pot of homemade chicken noodle soup...

and about two dozen daises.

And now I feel much, much better.

  1. So glad you're feeling better. I'm wondering which helped the most, orange juice, soup or your sweet man... glad he's there to push you along. ~ Lynne ~

  9. Wow...that is neat that you know of Chase. He is a good guy and one of the most amazing fathers. I am very proud of him. I used to laugh and tell him that one day magazines would want to interview me since he stayed at my house so much when he was young. I told him that I would tell them about the time he was driving the go kart and I was on with him, he took a big curve and threw me right off! The time my brother asked me I was the only one with a stick. Going down the one straight away in the hood he asked me when he would get to shift to 5th gear. I said, in the neighborhood probably never, at that point he shifted in to 5th, speeded up going down a hill and when I looked up, my side of the car was VERY, VERY, VERY close to a mailbox!!!! And it seemed for a long time when I attended a race, Chase always hit the wall. I stopped going for a bit but then when I went I would not go in the pits before a race so he would not know I was there! haha....

  14. Glad that you are feeling ever so much better. I am going to try some chicken noodle soup with Ramen noodles next time I make it. I only recently became personally aware of the healing virtues of good old chicken noodle, but I am not a fan of the heavy egg noodle. What do you think of my idea since you so recently have enjoyed the soup?

Thank you so much for leaving a comment. It means so much to me that you took the time and I read each and every one. If you don't have a blog, look for a response under your comment. I try to get to them within a few days :)

For some reason, the comment box doesn't always show up, so if you want to leave a comment, replying to someone else's comment seems to work. Also, I've had to switch from safari to chrome in order to comment on blogger, so that might be the issue. If not, you can always reach me via email, located on my side bar. Thank you!
