Don't forget to make a wish, after you've carved the bird.
And I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving with all the trimmings of love, laughter and joy.
Or at least a stiff cocktail to get through it....

Thank you so much for leaving a comment. It means so much to me that you took the time and I read each and every one. If you don't have a blog, look for a response under your comment. I try to get to them within a few days :)
For some reason, the comment box doesn't always show up, so if you want to leave a comment, replying to someone else's comment seems to work. Also, I've had to switch from safari to chrome in order to comment on blogger, so that might be the issue. If not, you can always reach me via email, located on my side bar. Thank you!
Happy Thanksgiving, Rue, great pictures!!

ReplyDeleteHappy happy thanksgiving, my friend Rue!! May you have a lovely day full of friends/family, fun, peace, something delicious to eat, and much to be thankful for! Love being friends!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Rue! Enjoy your delicious feast. Love the vintage photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Rue! That's some wishbone. Back when chickens had to be cut up from the grocery store, my mother always cut a small heart shaped piece around the wishbone to give to me. It was kind of the filet mignon of the chicken or turkey breast and it was so good and tender!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, dear Rue!

Happy Thanksgiving dear friend, I hope you had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteHugs...
Hello Friend,
ReplyDeleteWe save the wishbone too and snap it in a week or two.
I haven't "visited" for a couple years probably...but you look young and beautiful. And you are young still. I wish I would've embraced my 50's more and not have thought myself old back then (now 61). (You are still young enough to dye your hair!) Beautiful wedding, bride, and handsome groom. Andrea
ReplyDeleteHoping you had a great Thanksgiving. It was a nice visit with my family.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask Hubby what he did with the wishbone!! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Seeing a blog post from you is a gift :) No wishbone for me because I didn't have to cook the turkey this year!
ReplyDeleteRue, I hope you and your family had a most wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving! Love and hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteMy good wishes.
All the best Jan
Rue, I hope you and your family had a lovely Thanksgiving! I totally forgot about the wishbone and at this point, what remains of the turkey is now soup.

Here's hoping that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and you got to have the wish from the wishbone.
ReplyDeleteOur wishbone is still sitting on the kitchen window sill... I kinda forgot about it.
Warm wishes, sweet friend.

happy thanksgiving to you and your family.
ReplyDeletehave a great day
It's funny...I was playing on the computer and started following My 1929 Charmer and started going down her list of blogs she reads and I clicked on yours....Rue...I remember a Rue, years ago about 10 to be exact. I was a reader of yours, I had a blog of my own At Home in the Country...athomeinthecountry.blogspot.com and you would visit me as well. Life happened, I forgot my password and could no longer work on my blog, quit blogging, worked full time, etc. Well I am in the beginnings of a new blog, about my junk journal adventures and my cottage greenhouse. Yes, you are right about old friends, I remember ALL of these blogs and visited them on a regular basis. Not a fan of Facebook, so I am back blogging again. Nice to find you again. Best Wishes!!
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to send my good wishes for 2019.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan

ReplyDeleteThe best use of reclaimed brick is in the interior of Café and restaurant to give the vintage Look. For the wooden exterior, cedar cladding is the unique solution for the exterior design of your building.
ReplyDeleteMy friend convinced me and i had no choice than to follow my friend advice, because i never dreamed of loosing my lovely Husband. And i contacted_________Robinson.buckler@ { yahoo }. com, and i discussed with him all my problems and worries and so surprisingly,he told me that I’ll get my husband back a day after. I didn’t believed Him, until when i got home, the next day,my husband called me to inform me that he is coming back home…..So Amazing!! That’s how i got my back through spell casting and our relationship was stronger than ever. One of the price i was asked to pay was to tell it to the people around me that problems like this, can always be solved by Robinson Buckler So! my advice to you out there is to visit this same E-mail address, and tell him your problems too,if you are in any condition related to love issue or getting your ex back or and problem at all, pls Contact him and have a happy life.
