Whether we're at my house or his, every Sunday we cook a big breakfast...
with a large audience.
Of course, Bubba has the best view in the house...
until it's time to sit down and eat.
At that point, he's down underneath the table begging ;)
I feel a lot like Mini looks right here.
But, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
;)

Bacon! Bacon! Bacon! In the best frying pan ever! I can see why the dogs are drooling. A weekend morning like ours, dogs waiting for a drop of something yummy. My husband makes the best breakfast ever, one of the many reasons I married the old coot:)
ReplyDeleteLove this post Rue,
Kathleen in Az
There's nothing like a man that can cook breakfast ;)

Mine makes the best blueberry pancakes, and we had them on Sunday. Love your furry tribe!
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny to see their faces and imagine them begging...my daughter's do dog the same thing. She says it's the most impossible thing to stop if you ever give in just one time...And a big breakfast on Sunday is the best (:
ReplyDeleteUuuhmmmm. . .Hungry Hounds Cafe? :) Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh my, this is too cute, my friend! Thanks for sharing your sweet photos with us :)
ReplyDeleteHugs to you!
They are so cute! My husband makes me breakfast every Sunday too. Sounds like we both have great guys!
ReplyDeleteDelightful ritual!!!

This post made me smile SO big! Your babies are so well trained to sit patiently. Our doxies tend to try and walk back and forth creating havoc despite us repeatedly putting them in their "watching spot". Love this. Have a wonderful week filled with sunshine.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha, oh my gosh you do have a houseful, don't you? I'd say your dogfood and vet bills are pretty intense!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I love the photo of them staring/pleading toward the table!
ReplyDeleteThey're definitely characters LOL!
DeleteAwwww so cute. Love all your Sunday morning brunch mates!
ReplyDeleteKris
Beautiful! Thanks for posting!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Cindy :)
DeleteOh what a cute crew you have there! ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty darn cute ;)
DeleteHow cute your houseful of darlings. What a sweet post. Thanks for sharing these great photos. xo
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love how they're all staring at you...hoping for a piece of bacon, no doubt!
ReplyDeleteOh Rue!! How I loved this post.
ReplyDeleteI'd have been lining up with the pups too you know....
And I thought MY six dogs had the beggar dog look down cold . . . THIS lot:)! What precious little souls they all are . . .they fill our lives with unconditional love.
ReplyDeleteI know, huh? I'm a sucker and they know it LOL! And yes, they certainly do :)
DeleteSone people might think I'm weird---not you of course, but I think my dogs are at their most precious and vulnerable when I'm cooking. That expectant look, how they know the routine...its just too much! You sure have a cute audience!
ReplyDeleteBacktracked to your closet post. You have a ton of dresses! They are so cute. I love shoes and purses, too, but I purge them a lot so I can buy more.

The more the merrier, that's what I always say...especially if there's bacon involved! ;)
ReplyDeleteAnticipation!
ReplyDeleteOh this is such a cute post.
ReplyDeleteJust loved all of your photo's ... and I'm sure I too can smell the breakfast cooking!
Sending my good wishes for the month of June.
All the best Jan
This just cracked me UP!! Everytime I am in the kitchen this ( your life ) is my life :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling crew! Their faces are adorable, I'd love to give each of them a treat. Rue, I love dogs underfoot in the kitchen too. My husband teases me because while he tells them "Move!", I say, "Excuse me, sweetie." What's so hard to understand about that, I'd like to know?
ReplyDeleteQuite the crew you have there. Our two are always in the kitchen when we are cooking - just waiting for something to hit the floor!
ReplyDeleteHi Rue, I had to laugh when I saw your photos, because if you exchanged the dogs for cats, it would look like my kitchen when I'm cooking! Lucky girl to have breakfast cooked for you! My man doesn't know how to boil water...well, maybe a slight exaggeration, but not much. :)
ReplyDeleteOh what wonderful photos! I didn't grow up with dogs and have never had one. But cats can be pretty good at begging too.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
Robin
How fabulous!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like an invasion! Love it! Even though they are begging, they look so patient.
ReplyDelete~Chris
Oh my goodness...look at all those cute beggers! My Caesar is never far away when I am cooking anything. He knows that there is a good chance that I will sneak some yummy morsel to him. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL ... so fun. I love photo number 2!
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable. I love the 3rd photo. The intent stare! <3
ReplyDeletelove the photos!
