Sunset

Red sky at morning, sailors take warning;
Red sky at night, sailors' delight.

or

Red sky at night, shepherds' delight;
Red sky in the morning, shepherds' warning.

Whether or not you believe in either one of those old sayings, it's been very true this week.

Normally we'd be shivering in the cold, but the temperatures have been Spring like in the high 60s.

No one can say that we don't get beautiful sunsets here.

The colors were so amazing last night, I grabbed my camera in the middle of making dinner and ran outside to take pictures.

It almost looked like the trees were on fire.

And I love how it made my home look kind of pink :)

No matter what the weather is like where you live,
I hope you're enjoying it,
like I am.

If it's snowing or just cold, I hope you're warm and cozy.

If it's hot, I hope you're staying cool and enjoying a nice barbecue.

Most of all though,
 I hope you're enjoying life :)

  1. Oh, wow...those are some of the most intense sunset pictures I've ever seen! You are right - it looked like the trees were on fire. Is that your cool blue car in the photos? :-)

  3. Oh Rue, the sunset is just beautiful with the purples and pinks. I did notice that in one of the pictures, that the trees look like they are fire. I don't really see the sunsets as much as the pretty sunrises here. I'm an early bird. Your cottage looks so charming.

  5. Pretty sunset! Weather on the Front Range of Colorado is very changeable. Today was chilly with snow, by the weekend we will be in the high 60's. Last week he hit the 70's and then it snowed a couple days later. It keeps life interesting!

    1. We tend to have weird weather like that too. I think the strangest thing is that our biggest snow is usually in April.

  7. That is something i do miss about being in Arizona. The night skies are always gorgeous, with the sunsets and the stars. The way your house shone in that picture was so beautiful. Thank you for the pictures. It makes up for the cold, grey, snowy days.

Thank you so much for leaving a comment. It means so much to me that you took the time and I read each and every one. If you don't have a blog, look for a response under your comment. I try to get to them within a few days :)

For some reason, the comment box doesn't always show up, so if you want to leave a comment, replying to someone else's comment seems to work. Also, I've had to switch from safari to chrome in order to comment on blogger, so that might be the issue. If not, you can always reach me via email, located on my side bar. Thank you!
